Art is exposed as a means to identify community leaders; this is a first step to identifying key stakeholders in chronic risk areas, so that we can now invite to develop a landscape architecture and civil and hydraulic engineering project of a flower path, that will prevent mudslides, help against Zika, and lower humidity, using soft methods.
Adding healthy interventions
is something we strive to do in Venezuela where your flower path explores an addition to the way people think. We employ the most vulnerable such as the elderly, retired or people who have disadvantages to finding employment due to children they need to look after or simply reasons that are beyond their control.
This organization finds alternative funds to bridge the gap between the Global North and the Global South by inviting multidisciplinary teams from through out the world to work in Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and US cities on topics we find relevant after doing advanced analyses of a city's geo spatial components and identifying "pressure points" .
These pressure points are areas that capture a city's ailments in economic, social and physical attributes (example drainage, erosion, violence in a city's neighborhood). Once these points are identified, we call for proposals and grant proposed teams the possibility of working in edge communities developing a 50/50 funding structure whereby each dollar donated is met with the host community's dollar in work, materials or time.
The organization develops key strategic alliances between multi-scaled stakeholders, aligns agendas, and builds innovative and strong governance structures for democracy to spread and stay strong through out Latin America.
We look forward to building upon the brightest and most innovative minds to bring color to Latin America's problems. We also work in the USA as we are keen in developing this mechanism using MIT's Poverty Lab methodology to enhance the lives of the poor but through a multi-thematic approach.
UEF seeks to sponsor adequate infrastructure in informal settlements across Latin America. We use targeted campaigns to develop their ideas through the UEF framework to achieve sustainable non-formal communities in Latin America. We also build upon sustainability in all its facets, living among affordable housing communities for sustainable living in UK and US.
